President & CEO
Nod Dorcilien is the President / CEO and Founder of the National Association for the Advancement of Haitian Descendents. Mr. Dorcilien is a native of Haiti, a motivational speaker, community organizer with an education in communications.
Mr. Dorcilien has been politically, religiously, and socially active for the past 15 Years in the states where the Haitian-American communities dominate: New York, Florida, New-Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, and Washington, DC, Georgia and many more.
Mr. Dorcilien is very dedicated and committed to Haitian causes and often credited with the slogan: We must be the change we want to see in our society. Mr. Dorcilien holds memberships from several organizations in the United States, Canada, Germany, Britain and across the world.
In late 2006 Mr. Dorcilien has decided to go back to Haiti and spend sometimes in the Homeland to learn more about the problems and difficulties facing the young society and since has worked to establish NAAHD YOUTH MOVEMENT FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION where civic and social responsibilities can be taught to youths around the country through campaigns, seminars, summits on how to be prepared in order to assume future responsibilities for a possible comeback of Haiti and NAAHD will be the voice for the forgotten, neglected children and youths of Haiti.
