Dear friends,

Coming to America has been for all of us a great life experience. Living here has taught us a great deal on how people team up as minority groups and work together in common causes for the benefit of the majority.

Taking on such a journey is a real challenge and has not been easy for none of us. The task is great yet important. We know that through our organization we, as Haitians, will be able to work together regardless of our differences and work on issues that affect us negatively as a nation.

For many years, our beloved Country "Haiti" and our communities have had many difficulties in the areas of High cost of living, No Health care, No Education, Immigration issues and Economic Development to say the least. Yet not much has been done to address those issues in a collective manner or to find the best solutions for them. We are often listening to complaints on how ineffective the representation has been in our country and communities abroad but never hear of any defined plans or strategies to build an effective that representation for all of us regardless of where we are.

Today the National Association for the Advancement of Haitian Descendents (NAAHD) will do just that. We are about finding solutions to the problems, not talking about them. This is your chance to make a difference.

It is very important for you to understand and support NAAHD's alternate plan in order to effectively improve and protect our current interests, building ONE representative voice and planing a great future for youths of Haiti who are the future of this world. We want you to know NAAHD needs you and will give you the platform to participate and help find solutions that will transform our young society positively and also playing a major role in rebuilding our homeland through organizing, educating, forming our youths for a social transformation of our nation.

The only and most effective way we can make this transformation and building a stronger future is through investing in our youths. We all have to contribute regardless of our views, educational, professional, religious and social backgrounds and I believe NAAHD will be a real success with your participation.
